International Arbitration & dispute settlement

We have developped a solid expertise in complex commercial transaction, international commercial and investment arbitration as well as mediation, investigation, fraud and asset recovery.

Arbitration as well as mediation or negotiation are alternative dispute resolution ("ADR") and consist in taking the matter of dispute out of state courts. Since 1999 our lawyers have been engaged in such procedures, published articles, and made several presentations related to the topic.

In July 2019 the firm participated in an ICC international commercial arbitration concerning a dispute relating to a transfer of rights & interests in petroleum block offshore Senegal waters.

Our lawyers have also participated in the preparation and submission of several briefs in the context of international maritime disputes handled by the Chambre Arbitrale Maritime de Paris (CAMP).

We were also involved, as a counsel for the Senegal Maritime Navigation Company (COSENAM), in an arbitration procedure in London. The dispute was settled before the hearings took place.
